ESNNA CODE
The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism has created a policy against the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (ESNNA). The ESNNA code and CM PERU VIAJES Y AVENTURAS have an agreement on joint actions to prevent and eradicate this problem.

The ESNNA program and our commitment
This program, a policy for social development and the protection of vulnerable populations, is a broad and complex initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur).
It consists of raising awareness and training the entire sector in our country with the goal of preventing and ultimately eliminating the sexual exploitation of minors. We recently obtained CALTUR Certification – Level 2, also from Mincetur, and we are aligned with the most demanding government regulations for optimal tourism quality.
Specifically, in the case of authorized and certified travel agencies like CM PERÚ VIAJES Y AVENTURAS, the ESNNA program requires adherence to a Code of Conduct, which is signed with the Ministry of Tourism (MINCETUR). It requires the company to publicize this initiative, its rules, and objectives. It also requires that adequate training be provided to staff and suppliers. Of course, the company is committed to working in compliance with all the Code's requirements.
Unfortunately, child trafficking is a serious problem in Peru, but it is being combated. Through ethically responsible tourism, CM PERÚ VIAJES Y AVENTURAS brings development, economic activity, and improved living standards to the destinations we visit. Along these lines, our commitment to the ESNNA program also helps reduce and eradicate the sexual exploitation of minors.

Concrete actions – ESNNA Code
Adherence to the ESNNA program's Code of Conduct commits us to consistently implement a series of actions that are carried out and reinforced as part of our activities.
Our office staff, as well as our logistics staff (guides, cooks, drivers, and porters), are already properly trained to comply with the Code of Conduct. Tourists, whether domestic or foreign, are not offered or accepted any solicitation regarding child or adolescent sex tourism, for both ethical and legal reasons.
Along these same lines, we work together with our partners (hotels, restaurants, etc., and all their staff) to ensure the objectives and commitments of the ESNNA program are met in all sectors and stages of the tourism services we provide.
All of us at CM PERU VIAJES Y AVENTURAS, as well as our partners in our operations, are committed to enforcing the ENNSA Code of Conduct and reporting to the authorities when necessary.
The actions of the ESNNA code and CM PERÚ VIAJES Y AVENTURAS stand out and are a priority within our social responsibility policies. We seek to make tourism an activity that only benefits the region and the country, in accordance with the mission, vision, and corporate values.
